Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Kahya (the “app”), a daily-planner application for iPhone and iPad. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The app

Kahya helps you organize your day around your natural energy with a visual timeline, a circadian energy model, task management, and an optional AI planner. The app is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We may update, improve, or change features over time.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of all tasks, notes, schedules, and other content you create in Kahya. This content is stored on your device. You are responsible for the content you create and for keeping your own backups using the app's export feature.

3. AI Planner

The AI Planner is an optional feature powered by third-party AI models (Google Gemini) through our secure server. AI-generated suggestions are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate or incomplete — you review and approve every change before it is applied. You are responsible for evaluating any suggestion before relying on it. Use of the AI Planner is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

4. Kahya Pro & subscriptions

Some features require a “Kahya Pro” subscription, sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Any free-trial period, where offered, will end if you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law.
• Use the app to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app, our servers, or the AI service.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the app.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, branding, and all related materials are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.

7. Disclaimer

Kahya is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, health, or sleep advice. The circadian energy model is a general estimate and should not be treated as professional health guidance. The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
